I’m not much for romantic movies but I am a sucker for films that take place somewhere far away and have an even greater propensity to be drawn to movies set in Asia. Even more so if the film is set as a kind of travelogue in a destination that I’ve traveled to before. This being the case, Hong Kong has definitely tattooed some great impressions upon my memory and soul.
So what does one do with their free time? The time spent not fulfilling obligations. Time that you aren’t getting paid for. Too often those obligations tend and burn away any residual energy and life so who wants to spend what remains doing something that just feels like more work? A few days ago I woke up and saw several notifications on my phone. One particular notification came from a unique lady who runs a “peculiar” and interesting autobiographical blog called The Somewhat Peculiar Story of Mir all the way from England. She explained to me how she nominated my humble little project for The Liebster Award. An award aimed at helping new or hidden gem blogs gain greater exposure throughout the community and perhaps get a cool badge to display on the landing page of the winning site.
