It’s been a while hasn’t it? This is just a quick update. The short trips to Tucson and Las Vegas earlier this year were fun but this summer was spent saving money and just keeping my head down to work. During that time, I tried to practice getting better at my photography and Photoshop. Working with models and exploring the greater Phoenix area hunting for interesting locations. Practice at home to be better around the world. Summer lasts longer here in Phoenix but it was a quiet season until October 13th to the 23rd. It felt like I was never still. This year, I’m trying something a new. A little more on that later because I’m still trying to get some things in place. Related to that, I went down to Tucson for an extended weekend. The first trip, I had gone with the intent of visiting the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum and eating at El Charro. This time around, I went for a different purpose but spent the entire trip in the downtown area and made another trip to El Charro. Continue reading
Day One: Planet Arizona. Walking with the ancient.
Somewhere in the mountains and forests of northern Arizona, a red hatchback flies around turns much faster than should be taken. The sound of the road singing under the tires is drowned out by the loud and fittingly fast music within. Miles pass alongside endless pastures near, and a reddening sky afar. There’s a stop for lunch here, another stop for fuel there. Continue reading
The third and final destination from my holiday vacation was to another place that I’ve always wanted to go. On Christmas day, I ventured on an expedition to Camp Verde, stayed in a hotel and the next day, visited the Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Pushing up majestic mountains, cruising along gentle curves through snow falling silently down into the valleys below to go on an African adventure. Continue reading
There has definitely been a noticeable trend of arcade bars popping up around The Valley and even perhaps around the country. Trying to compare the new arcade bars in the central Phoenix area isn’t exactly as easy as I thought. Everyone has their preference and when two similarly themed establishments open their doors, most people will tend to consistently gravitate to one over the other. Continue reading
